This painting is of Queen St E. at Bellefair Ave (which happens to be the street I live on). The church pictured in this painting is currently being converted to condos. This is a fate, unhappily, that is befalling many of our charming Queen St E buildings. I called this painting "Preservation" because it will preserve this beloved church in our memories :(
